Objective:
To produce an 8-minute documentary film for a children center in Sharya, Duhok, featuring interviews with parents, stakeholders, community leaders, and school staff.
Scope of Work:
Plan and execute a video shoot for the documentary film, which will cover the children center and what achievements have the project reached, interviews with parents, stakeholders, community leaders, and school staff.
• Develop a filming plan and share it with CAPNI before commencing the shoot.
• Produce a final cut of the film that meets the CAPNI’s expectations and requirements.
• Provide all raw footage and project files to CAPNI upon completion of the project.
Deliverables:
1. A final cut of the documentary film, no less than 8 minutes in duration.
2. Subtitles in English for the entire film.
3. Raw footage and project files for the entire production.
Timeline:
The filming is expected to start on May 28th, 2023, and must be completed no later than July 13th, 2023.
Evaluation Criteria:
1. The applicant shall be based in Duhok or its surroundings.
2. Freelancers are eligible to apply.
3. Experience in documentary film production [Must provide at least 3 links]
4. Understanding of the CAPNI’s requirements and objectives for the center.
5. The applicant shall cover its transportation
6. The applicant shall have the following equipment [Professional DSLR camera, sound equipment (ZOOM H4 and higher models), filming assistant(s).
Submission Details:
Interested videographers or production companies should submit a proposal to CAPNI no later than May 15th, 2023.
The proposal should include the following information:
Company/Freelancer profile and experience
Proposed approach and filming plan
Budget breakdown and cost estimate
All submission files shall be only in PDF versions. Word Document, external links, screenshots/photos will be rejected.
Total budget for the documentary film shall not exceed 1,000,000 IQ
