The mobile clinic project is one of the main health sector projects, supported by Caritas international.
The mobile clinic project’s main goal is to Improve the health services, awareness, and overall well-being of the targeted community of rural and remote targeted villages.
The mobile clinic targets 21 villages of Nineveh plain district that lack health services.
The mobile clinic project runs mobile clinic for conducting examination treatment for minor diseases and referral of the cases who needed further interventions or investigations as well as Provides medical examination treatment and follow-up to the patients having chronic illnesses in our target villages.
Monthly awareness and training sessions for chronic disease illness patients or their sponsors about the examination of the vital signs (Pulse rate, Blood pressure, Blood sugar, and overall other signs), and theoretical awareness, advice, and updates about the chronic illnesses of the patients.
The project duration is for 12 months starting in Feb-2023, The mobile clinic will have 12 trips per month to cover all targeted villages; each village will have one mobile clinic visit per month.
During the visit, the mobile clinic doctors will examine and treat the cases who seek medical consultation by providing the needed medicine for their illnesses, also will provide awareness sessions for chronic disease cases the session will be about their illnesses.
