The Advocacy Sector of CAPNI Organization, as part of the JISRA project, organized dialogue sessions within the components of the Nineveh Plain for six days in the Bashiqa sub-district and Hamdaniya district center.
These sessions were facilitated and moderated by the trainer, Mr. Bassam Salim, with the support and presence of the members of the community committee for the JISRA; Mr. Mohammed Dahham, Ms. Rita Ammanoel, Mr. Nashwan Salman, Mr. Amer Abdelwahd, Ms. Siraj Ali and Ms. Kalhan Luqman.
Mr. Matty Yaqo (Advocacy Sector Coordinator), Mr. Rama Baito (JISRA Project Coordinator), and Mr. Michael Sameer (JISRA MEAL) were also present during the dialogue sessions to support and monitor the progress of the activity.
Different groups participated in these sessions, including youth, clerics, academics, and civic activists, from both genders and different components (Muslims, Christians, Kakais, and Yezidis).
The sessions included various topics, including:
1. Reviewing the previous issues discussed by the participants within the activities of JISRA during the year 2022.
2. Determine the most important issues related to each component according to its location.
3. Select the most important issue for each component, each according to its location, to design an initiative/campaign during the activity (Inclusion Campaigns) for 2023.
4. An explanation of the mechanism for designing the initiative/campaign, as it was explained clearly and carefully by Mr. Bassam, to lead and direct them during the coming months to design and manage the initiatives/campaigns.
