To enhance women’s participation and increase their impact on societal issues, the Community Development Sector at CAPNI, funded by the Catholic Archdiocese in Cologne – EK and the Initiative Eastern Christianity Austria – ICO,
launched the first Women’s Forum in Batnaya. The forum aims to build women’s capacities and promote cultural and social awareness in all fields. It brought together 63 women from Batnaya and various age groups and educational levels. The first forum included a lecture on the role of mothers in proper child upbringing, presented by Sister Dr. Hanan Ishou, followed by discussions and the exchange of opinions among the forum participants.
