In August 2023, the CAPNI organization, as part of one of the activities of its mobile clinic, initiated a distinctive humanitarian project with generous support from Caritas Germany. This initiative aims to improve healthcare in remote communities and villages in the Ninawa Plains region. Forty-two specialized medical devices for measuring blood pressure and blood sugar levels were distributed to provide healthcare support to those living in remote areas far from medical services.
This step is part of ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of life for individuals in these areas. The medical devices were distributed to twenty-one villages, with each village receiving two essential medical devices: one for measuring blood pressure and one for measuring blood sugar.
Caritas Germany played a pivotal role in supporting and enabling the success of this humanitarian initiative. In addition to distributing the devices, the healthcare team affiliated with the organization provided detailed instructions on how to correctly use these vital devices. This reflects CAPNI’s commitment to improving the health and well-being of communities and supporting individuals in times of need.
