Objectives

  • At the end of the project 5 social workers from Batnaya village, their skills, and knowledge in hygiene measures, hygiene measures awareness, and basic data collection improved.
  • At the end of the project About 200 families in Batnaya village, their awareness and tools in hygiene & sanitation measures improve.
  • At the end of the project the level of community and house hygiene in Batnaya is measured (according to international standards).

Activities

  • The health sector in CAPNI, trained five social workers from Batnaya village in health awareness presenting skills in addition to data entry and data software using skills.
  • In return those social workers started home visits for the hosted families, presenting to them health awareness sessions about personal, house hygiene methods and measures and global warming awareness, which can minimize the risk of communicable diseases and improve the overall health condition.
  • In addition to the distribution of hygiene kits for each family, the kit contains personal and house hygiene basic material for their daily use.

The project was launched at end of October-2022 and within 6-month duration, The social worker team continuing to educate and distribute about 200 families from the host community of Batnaya.
